What 98 percent confidence actually means.
Every MGT project gets a target delivery date at kickoff. On green-lane estimates, the date is backed by a refund policy: if we miss it by more than a week for reasons on our end, you get 10 percent back per week missed.
Yellow-lane estimates swap the refund for a rolling scope checkpoint. Every Friday, we demo what is shipped. If scope drifts, deadline moves with it and you see it live.
Red-lane estimates do not get signed. We flag them and rebuild the estimate with you on a scope call, usually by cutting the feature list in half.
Historical on-time rate on green-lane: 94 percent. Yellow-lane: 71 percent. Delayed projects averaged 8 days late, longest was 5 weeks (scope tripled mid-build, client agreed).
